Mirantis Security Portal (2023)

A software security vulnerability is a publicly existing informational record about a weakness or flaw in software that can be exploited by attackers to compromise the security of a system. A vulnerability can allow unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of data or systems, and can result in the theft of sensitive information, financial loss, or damage to my reputation as a company.

A vulnerability is described by the name and the versions of the software which is vulnerable. In case the vulnerability got addressed in the software, the information about the versions where it got fixed is also provided.

My Role

  • Worked with PM to define Security portal PRD and UX requirements.

  • Defined user personas and user stories to map out user workflows when handling common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVEs) for Mirantis Products

  • Defined user worfklows and translated them into designs.

  • Demoed user scenarios and workflows with internal users to gather feedback and incorporate them in the final designs
